What is Reveal?
With an advanced automated reporting system, Reveal helps e-commerce stores grow by focusing on Customer Value Optimization. It all starts with automated RFM segmentation, which allows your company to create better customer journeys and experiences, improve customer lifetime value and loyalty, generate higher ROI and overall results by using the actionable insights you gather from Reveal.
What is Conversific?
Conversific is a product-oriented analytics tool designed for e-commerce store owners that want to optimize traffic and conversions, gather data in one tool, and improve online sales. Conversific helps e-stores grow profits by centralizing data in one tool, comparing your store’s data to the industry’s benchmarks, and suggesting next steps based on existing data.
Reveal vs Conversific – The main features
Using a proven marketing model for customer segmentation helps you better understand each segment, treat customers differently according to the segment they belong to, and adapt your offers to each group’s characteristics. This results in improved customer experiences and sales boost for your e-store.
With Reveal, you get automated RFM segmentation, which splits your customer base into 11 default groups according to their scores for three factors: Recency (R), Frequency (F) & Monetary Value (M).
Based on this segmentation model, Reveal shows you how many customers are in each segment and uses data from your eCommerce platform to show you the revenue and margin generated by each RFM group, their buying habits, preferences and dislikes, loyalty, and customer lifetime value. Also, you can push this data to other e-Commerce tools you’re using for more personalized experiences and targeted messages.
In Conversific, you can find a list of predefined segments that are generated by combining various filters like the total number of orders, orders in the given period, average order value, total spend.
You can customize this set of predefined segments to make sure it reflects the customer journey specific to your e-store. Although it’s nice to have all these filters to create various customer lists, when it comes to segments, you might need a more stable model for more accurate segmentation, one that lets you compare customers by using the same factors, like in RFM analysis.
Reveal helps you increase customer retention across all valuable RFM groups by pushing data to various channels, which allows you to apply the right loyalty program to the right group. You can find the most important retention-related features under sections like Retention, Cohort Analysis, and Buyer Habits.
Under Retention, you have reports for metrics such as Average Retention Rate, Chances to Place Next Order, NPS Score, Customer Distribution, or Retention Curve.
Cohort Analysis, one of the most sought-after features in an eCommerce tool, allows you to see how good your business is at retaining newly acquired customers over a given period.
The buyer Habits feature allows you to find patterns in your customer’s behavior that can be used as insights for improved offers and loyalty programs.

In Conversific, you won’t find a dedicated section to customer retention but you will find various retention metrics in the Customer Reports. Some of the KPIs that you can use in Conversific to evaluate customer retention are Repeat Revenue, Ordered items, Average Order Value, Lifetime value, Lifetime Orders/ Customer.
Conversific allows you to compare your e-store’s results to the performance of other stores by looking in the Benchmarks section. Here you can compare your metrics related to growth, conversion, or channel results against your industry’s average.
Customer satisfaction & experience Surveys
To improve customer retention and increase customer lifetime value, you have to listen very closely to your customers’ voices. One of the best tactics to measure their satisfaction and experiences is to send Net Promoter Score surveys pre-delivery (right after a customer placed an order) and post-delivery (right after the customer received her/his package).
In Reveal, you monitor and measure NPS at all levels pre and post-delivery and use the gathered insights to improve the online interaction with your brand, the product experience, and customer support.
You can use the NPS data to adjust your offers and marketing campaigns, resolve issues related to a certain RFM segment or product, act upon complaints to avoid losing valuable customers.
In Conversific, there is no report or feature dedicated to the customers’ feedback, so if you want to measure and evaluate customer experience and customer satisfaction, you need to integrate another tool with your e-commerce platform and email marketing platforms.
You can see the most successful products in your assortment by looking at Top Performing Brands, Products, and Categories, and analyze each by Revenue, Margin, Order count, and the number of buyers.
To see the other end of product performance – the worst-performing products, you can go to the Product Return section and analyze your product assortment by looking at order return rate, split, and count at different levels (by RFM group, brand, customer type, etc.).
You can evaluate the product experience by looking at all NPS metrics, but especially at the scores received per brand, category, or order attribute.
In Conversific, you can see how well or bad your products are performing by looking in the Product Report. Conversific allows you to analyze products by splitting them into five categories: best selling, trending products, biggest losers, the potential package offers, and top 10 categories. You can compare metrics such as net sales, change of revenue, quantity sold.
You can use the Insights section in Conversific if you want to generate new ideas based on the tool’s suggestions that are grouped under three categories: Personalized Data Audit, Warnings & Opportunities, Achievements.
Email marketing integrations
Thanks to the data that Reveal pushes to these two email tools, you will be able to improve your personalization efforts, nurturing campaigns, loyalty programs, more accurate flows and lists based on RFM scores and other data that Reveal collects in real-time
Historical versus predictive data
Both e-commerce apps offer you various metrics and reports based on your store’s historical data so you can measure and monitor customer experience, product performance, and the overall success of your store.
What Reveal does differently from Conversific when it comes to processing data is that the tool also calculates automatically three important key performance indicators: Chances to Place Next Order, Predictive Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Predictive CLV by RFM group.
Reveal vs Conversific – Integrations with other platforms
If you’re using Shopify as your store’s e-commerce platform, you get direct integration with Reveal.
