If you are using a Tag Manager system, always use the asynchronous version of our tracking code.
If you use Google Tag Manager (GTM) and try to implement the Omniconvert tracking code via a Custom Tag, you must know that these tags will be fired asynchronously. As a consequence, there will be a flickering effect when conduction A/B test experiments. However, if you are interested in applying other experiments (than A/B testing) and choose to, you can install the tracking code (asynchronously) through a GTM tag.
Here is how you do it:
1. In your Google Tag Manager (GTM) Account, create a new tag that will be used to integrate the Omniconvert tracking code on your website.
2. Name it and start its configuration.
3. Choose to create a ‘Custom HTML‘ tag.
4. Then, copy the Asynchronous version of the Omniconvert tracking code into the ‘Tag Configuration’ field.
5. Scroll down in order to have access to the section in which you have to configure the trigger.
6. Select the trigger to fire on ‘All Pages‘.
7. Hit ‘Save‘ in order to save the newly created tag.
8. Hit ‘Submit‘ in order to activate live the newly created tag:
