Confidence level

The confidence level is a metric used for defining the probability value associated with a confidence interval and refers to the likelihood of a sample to include the true population parameter. A confidence level of 95%, for example, means that there is a probability of 95% that the obtained results are reliable, or that 95% of the sample can be expected to include the true population parameter.
